Tom Stoddart is a versatile director known for impactful work across commercials, branded content, documentaries, and music videos. His style emphasises natural human moments paired with a bold cinematic aesthetic, helping brands create genuine connections with their audiences.

He has directed commercial films and branded content for global agencies and clients, including BT, O2, Nestlé, Greenpeace, HSBC, Dove, Simple Skincare, Domino's, Bentley, and many others.

Tom’s work often derives from drawing out honest performances from real people with no previous experience in front of a camera. Equally he is comfortable collaborating with international music artists and actors or interviewing some of the world’s most influential CEOs, dignitaries and innovators.

He has extensive experience working directly with companies and organisations around the world. Recently, he has made documentary films with The Economist for clients such as PwC, Honeywell, Bank of America, Dow, and more.

Bringing business stories to life is one of his specialities. Through creating brand-driven crowdfunding films directly for start-ups such as Monzo, Grind, Freetrade, and Curve, he has contributed to many record-breaking funding campaigns, which have collectively raised over £75 million to date.

In the world of music videos, Tom has repeatedly collaborated with artists such as Muse and Emeli Sandé. He has also made short films that have screened at festivals worldwide, having previously received funding from the BFI.
